My mom redecorated her living room. So I took full advantage and used it as backdrop for this victorian styled shoot that I've been wanting to do ever since I got this goodwill table runner and RAN with it. (get it?)
I teamed up with local photographer and artist Mallory Whiffen of Lennox Jude Photography. She came to my mind because her photographs look like victorian style paintings and have a moody edge that I adore, and this slightly gothic, royally vintage feel really brought out her talents.
Here are a few from Mallory’s set.
We found the most beautiful models and shot on a perfect day. The natural lighting in the room made it such a dream. I am so happy that another vision came out how I planned it to!
here are my shots!
At the end of the day, photography is something I do as an outlet. I love the simplicity of that. Some people knit. Some people are into painting, music, volunteering, boxing. I have found my outlet and it is this.
